Getting in front of the camera can be a little nervous at first, especially if you haven't done it in a while. That's why it is very important to choose the photographer you connect with and feel you can trust their expertise.
As your Tampa Branding Photographer, I always meet with you at my Masha Ray Portraits studio, where we start planning your Branding Session. We go over all the details about you, your brand, your personality, what you like to wear, how you want your audience to see you. We will talk about the outfits and will style you. At my Studio I have a collection of beautiful wardrobe Ladies are welcome to try. We will also create a board of ideas and discuss the setups and locations for your Branding Photo Session. This consultation will help us prepare for your session, so that we can create the most amazing photos for your business! The consultation is also helpful because we get to know each other, and during the photo session you will feel more relaxed, coming to a familiar environment.
The actual photo session will be so much fun! I will guide you throughout the entire session and will show you all the poses that look flattering, relaxed and absolutely beautiful! I will show you some photos in the back of my camera, so you feel confident we are getting the best Branding and Headshot photos of you! I have been photographing women for about 10 years and I have heard pretty much everything of what women worry about them being not photogenic. One of my strongest side is posing and I guarantee you would be happy with your final photos!

My name is Masha and I am a portrait photographer located in Wesley Chapel, Florida. I provide services in Tampa and surrounding areas and I love to travel to do photo shoots on location. I specialize in in-studio and outdoor Professional Headshots and Branding, as well as Contemporary Glamour and Beauty photography.
My photography career started little over 10 years ago when I moved to the US and run a full time wedding photography business. Later my family and I moved to Florida where I opened my photo studio with the focus on Professional Headshots and Branding serving Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Orlando, Lakeland and surrounding areas.
What brought me to photography? I think big part of it I was indirectly influenced by my parents. I was born in Kiev, Ukraine in a family of artists. My mom was a touring ballerina and my dad was an artist, who painted churches and monasteries in Ukraine. My dad taught me how to view color and light, as well as some elements of composition. From my mom I learned posture and gracefulness while watching back stage how ballerinas performed their dances. And even though I cannot draw, nor can I properly dance, I share my artistic skills through photography. Through out my photography journey, I learned the skills of posing, lighting and story telling alongside the best photographers in the world.
Among all the values in business my biggest three are customer service, quality and connection. A lot of times Customers tell me prior to the session, they are little nervous because they either don't like their photos taken, they feel insecure in front of the camera or they say they don't know how to pose. I always walk them through the process of the photo session and during the shoot we spend first five minutes to warm them up, so they get used to camera and my directions. I always guide them on posing and once we establish this connection level, their photo look authentic, natural and professional. I have photographed hundreds of people and I know how to bring out the best angles with proper posing and lighting. But most important for me is that connection that you see in their eyes on their final images.
